The Texas drama is coming back.
TNT announced in March the show, Dallas, is set to debut Wednesday, June 13th. The two-hour premiere will air at 9/8c with old and new characters, but not the same episodes. TNT wanted to keep the plot continuous and start where they left off, 20 years later. The new episodes will be even more intriguing for Dallas fans to turn on their television and tune in.
Dallas is a famous southern soap-opera style television show revolving around Texas millionaires. These cowboys are working in (you guessed it) the oil business. The plot surrounds backstabbing and good old- fashioned drama between dysfunctional families.
Production took place at the famous Southfork ranch as well as many other locations, such as an old HealthSouth hospital that was kept vacant for many years. The empty hospital required clean-up from a professional service with experience in set and production cleaning.
Valor Janitorial utilized their expert services on the set of Dallas where reproduction and building of sets from the original show occurred.
“We have worked for a couple of production companies on several network television shows,” Brandon Hayes, owner of Valor Janitorial, said.
Technique and efficiency is something Valor Janitorial Services take pride in. The goal of the Dallas commercial cleaning company is to make the floors and sets appear perfect on camera in the short period of time before and after filming, even after explosives went off on the shows set.
“In television everything is really fast paced,” Hayes said. “The work has to be done in less time than normal and must appear flawless on camera.”
In the massive clean-up, Valor employees had duties such as re-polishing all of the hallways and marble floors. The workers were able to revitalize the rundown hospital and make it appear to be functional in less than a week, Hayes said.
